Are there any naruto movies

Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke begin the movie by watching a movie. There were also cars in the franchise for the first time. It was a stark contrast to the low tech series, which might be why it ranked so low for fans. This movie likely ranked a little higher than others because it featured a lot more fan-favorite characters. While the focus was still on one team Naruto, Sakura, Rock Lee, and Neji guarding someone, many more characters got to play a part in the action sequences.

Unlike many of the other Naruto movies, which could easily be dismissed as filler, this one actually contributed to some of the series' plot. Sasuke traveled to the same village in order to retrieve reincarnation information for Orochimaru. That research would help the missing ninja throughout the rest of the series.

Yamato and Naruto ended up caught in a Jutsu he enacted, sending them back in time. That idea provided the basis here. As Kakashi found himself influenced by a mind control Jutsu, Sakura and Naruto set out to save him.

Unfortunately, Kakashi had already asked Tsunade to put a seal on him that would sacrifice him when the enemy got ahold of him. Shikamaru was the only member of his generation who knew and was tasked with stopping Sakura and Naruto. The Blood Prison is a dark place, even by Naruto standards. The movie sees Naruto implicated in an assassination attempt on the Raikage.

Orochimaru, now suffering from his expired body, orders Sasuke to get a man who can help him perfect his reincarnation. After Amaru recovers, the remaining allies continue trying to find the missing villagers. Naruto nearly transforms into a trailed beast state, but the seal suppresses the Nine-Tailed Fox chakra within him and Amaru resists the power of Reibi. With the fortress no longer having power, Ancor Vantian falls. While several leaf ninjas attempt to infiltrate and destroy the fortress, Amaru, Hinata and the freed villagers prepare to leave.

After Naruto destroys the remaining fortress with the Rasengan and falls through the sky, Amaru rides on the glider to save him. They then land safely on Gamabunta. Chronology: This movie is set after episode of the Naruto: Shippuden anime, since Orochimaru was sick, which happened around when Sasuke was about to kill Orochimaru.

The Land of Fire remains the only village not affected by these events, so people start to suspect its role in these incidents; rumors of a possible rebellion begin to circulate. The real villain is Hiruko, who left the village long ago after developing the Chimera Technique, a Jutsu that allows the user to absorb both the chakra and Kekkei Genkai of other ninjas.

With Hiruko intending to use the power of a solar eclipse to carry out his plan, a race to defeat him begins, as the moment of the eclipse draws near. One night, Hiruko activates a Puppet Curse placed on Kakashi over 10 years ago.

Kakashi asks Tsunade to allow him to go, so he can defeat Hiruko. Before he leaves, Kakashi asks Tsunade to place a special seal on him that will automatically activate Kamui, when Hiruko attempts to absorb him. Team 8, Team 10 and Team Guy are sent to retrieve them.

Eventually, they reach the temple, where Hiruko awaits for Kakashi. Naruto enters the temple alone; Hiruko commences with the eclipse and the absorption. Naruto saves Kakashi, breaking into the slime with multiple Rasengan before pulling him out, but Hiruko remains alive. He states that the eclipse continues and releases a large amount of chakra, reducing the surrounding area to rubble. Hiruko summons a chimera beast. Naruto and Kakashi battle Hiruko, who easily absorbs their attacks.

Naruto finally attacks Hiruko with Rasenshuriken, which Hiruko fails to absorb and dies from his injuries. The ninjas celebrate their victory at Mount Shumi. Chronology: The movie takes place after episode 89 of the Naruto: Shippuden anime, due to the large influence of the Hidan and Kakuzu Arc. Assigned a mission to capture a missing-nin named Mukade, Naruto, Sakura, Yamato and Sai wield chakra-knives.

Naruto and Yamato are sent twenty years into the past. Anrokuzan uses the parts of the tower to become a giant defensive puppet. Minato and Naruto use their regenerative chakra enough to create the legendary Super Rasengan.

Just as the heroes vanish from the past, Minato asks Naruto not to change history by erasing all of their memories. Naruto is arrested and sent to Hozuki Castle in the Hidden Grass Village, after he is mistakenly declared responsible for attacking the Fourth Raikage. Mui, the head of the prison, places the Sky Prison Control seal on Naruto and limits his chakra.

Naruto and his friends fail to defeat Satori, but the dying Mui seals it within Muku with the formula and the victim returns to the box. The heroes then interred her and Mui, and place the sealed box at sea. Chronology: This movie is probably set after episode of the Naruto: Shippuden anime, but we cannot be sure due to the plot inconsistencies.

Namely, Naruto knew Sage Mode and remembered when he met his father, despite the fact that the invasion of Pain had not yet occurred. When Sakura later uses Naruto as an excuse to avoid her parents, after he got into an argument with Iruka, the two are confronted by Tobi who subjects them to a limited version of the Infinite Tsukuyomi: The Limited Tsukuyomi.

Naruto and Sakura also learn of a masked ninja attacking jinchuriki, who is after the Red Moon Scroll which Jiraiya sacrificed his life in sending to Tsunade for safekeeping.

The village is then attacked by the masked ninja, revealed to have allied himself with Tobi, who has used an incorporeal form to enter the genjutsu reality, as he abducts Sakura to hold ransom for the Red Moon Scroll.

Realizing the genjutsu parents, though highly similar, are not like his own, Naruto takes the Red Moon Scroll while running to save Sakura and face the masked ninja. Naruto is overpowered by the masked ninja and his Nine Masked Beasts, when he is saved by the Genjutsu version of Itachi and Akatsuki. While the Akatsuki dispatch the Masked Beasts, Naruto battles against the masked ninja who is revealed to be his Genjutsu world counterpart: Menma.

Menma absorbs the defeated masked beasts to manifest the Black Nine-Tails, with the Nine-Tails making a temporary truce with Naruto to defeat its counterpart. Sakura saves Naruto before the Nine-Tails is extracted from him, and Naruto is inadvertently reminded of a memory, that allows him to regain the rest of his memories in time to save Sakura, and he then manages to force Tobi out of Menma and undo the Limited Tsukuyomi. Once back in their reality, after informing Tsunade of their ordeal, Sakura reunites with her parents while Naruto makes amends with Iruka and realizes he already has a family in his friends.

Chronology: This anime is set after episode of the Naruto: Shippuden anime, because Naruto must have already met his mother. Two years since the peace established in the aftermath of the 4 th Ninja World War, the Sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake, notices that the moon is nearing Earth and will soon collide with it.

During the Rinne Festival, Hinata knits a red scarf similar to the one Naruto wore when they first met with Sakura, offering her assistance.

Hinata becomes doubtful as Naruto receives a variety of gifts from others, including another scarf. Toneri refuses to listen to Hinata, ruins the scarf and brainwashes her.

Naruto saves Hinata and her attempt to stop Toneri for gaining the Tenseigan. While on a mission to capture a missing-nin, Naruto stumbles upon ancient ruins that send him 20 years into the past. There, he meets the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. Overall, the concept is pretty novel, and the highlight of The Lost Tower is definitely Naruto fighting alongside Minato. Naruto is also unaware that Minato is his father for the majority of the film, so having him present definitely gives this film some weight.

Still, a later Naruto: Shippuden film will do this same thing better. Overall, if you're not watching this film to see Minato or a young Kakashi, then The Lost Tower might be a skip. In Blood Prison , someone tries to assassinate the Raikage, leader of the Land of Lightning, and the assassin looks a lot like Naruto.

Tsunade sets up a trap for Naruto, who is wrongfully accused before being captured and sent to Blood Prison. Unlike previous films, Naruto is not on a mission, but instead isolated from all his friends. This new concept is very interesting, though unfortunately, the plot follows that of a typical shounen movie.

The final battle is massive and intense and the action is well-done, but the story is predictable, with not much being done with the side characters or the interesting premise, which is a disappointment. Blood Prison is probably a skip for most people, though anyone looking to see Naruto characters in an unusual situation may like it.

In Road to Ninja , upon returning home after a successful fight against the Akatsuki, Naruto is consumed by feelings of jealousy and loneliness as he watches his friends being congratulated by their parents. Naruto, who longs for a family, and Sakura, who is embarrassed of her family, have an argument over their differing opinions. Madara seizes this opportunity to send them into an alternate reality: One where Naruto's parents are alive and Sakura's are gone. They are forced to protect this world, while also trying to find a way back to their own, but unlike The Lost Tower , this film has a stronger focus on Naruto's bond with his parents.

This film is both heartwarming and heartbreaking, showing us what could have been for Naruto while exploring his relationship with his parents. This movie is a must watch. It's up to Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Shikamaru and Sai to save her while also keeping this new threat at bay. Overall, the main purpose of The Last is to establish Naruto and Hinata's relationship, which was underdeveloped in the series.

Arguably, it's better than nothing. The animation gets taken up a notch in The Last , and the film features some great fight scenes. As this does a lot with Naruto and Hinata's relationship, The Last ends up being a must-watch movie for the franchise.

Before the Boruto anime premiered, Kishimoto created an anime film to establish Naruto's son.
